French music a gogo : Liz Brady
Egyptian born yé-yé girl Liz Brady (Lisa Gautier) made 6(?) ep's between 1965 and 1967.In 1968 She and her sister moved to Québec where they formed the duo Les Scarabées.She still performs in Florida as Liza Brady. Here's one of her wilder songs.

All the info I can find on her says her records were released by a French record company ,"Palladium" is actually about a French Pigalle nightclub but maybe she was Québecoise from origin... :)

A french guy contacted me a while ago saying he was a friend of hers and was trying to help her find a copy of a Scopitone she'd made.
He wrote:"Liz is still performing in South Florida and is now 65 years old.She now is known as Lisa Brady. "Comme tu es jeune" was the name of the song (Scopitone)."

I have this record pictured in the middle: http://www.lisabrady.com/
The seller told me it was her first group, and they are from Quebec. I was never even sure if it was her, as she's listed as Liza Gautier. This woman sure has a lot of names!

Hi Christine, found some more info,Les Scarabées were a Québec group (originally the 2 sisters were born in Egypt!).The 2 sisters arrived in Canada in 1968.This group existed well into the 70's.Liza later moved to Florida. Now the question is are Liz Brady and Liza Gautier/Brady the same person? And the answer is YES! :) Seems Liza (as Brady) had a solo carreer in France before Les Scarabées.

Good work! Did you find this info online? I'd like to read it if you have a link.
I wasn't sure she was Liza Gautier until I saw that album cover on her website (and thanks to Spike, knew that Lisa Brady is her). I once saw a recent pic of her holding up the Scarabees' album... can't find it now though. I don't know if you saw this pic of them on my blog.

For everyone's clarification - Liz Brady is the chanteuse you all know and love. She is not a writer nor is she an artist/painter.
Does anyone have her EP called Rien N'est Perdu? She wants it.

Hello. I know this is a 2 year old page, but I was wondering if somebody had a contact address to Liz Brady. I am looking for someone she can tell me where to find: Margaret Anne. Would you please send your answer to cmizrahi1@yahoo.com ? Thanks

Hello!! Who's looking for M-A?
Liz Brady is her stage name, it was later changed to Liza Brady. Gautier is not her name, it was her partner's (not her sister)name in the duo: "Les Scarabees"
